Denny Ripka
Engineering Aide
Denny joined our department in 2003. Denny comes to us with over 30 years of professional experience as a machinist with companies like Corning Asahi, Cerro Metals and other local companies. Denny's experience with mechanical tools both in and out of the machine shop gives him the perfect background for the widely varied tasks that he perfoms.
Denny manages the day to day activities within the mechanical shop area, supervises undergraduate and graduate students in the shop area, and provides design assistance on the mechanical aspects of projects in Biomechanics and other areas.
